The Higher Secondary Education serves as a step towards achieving higher education for the teenagers of 16-18 years. In this context, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is an autonomous West Bengal Government administered examining authority. It is responsible for conducting 12 standard examinations at the state level. The Council provides quality and uniform evaluation system all over the state encompassing more than 6800 schools and over 16 lakh students every year.
WBCHSE has conducted the HS exam starting February 26th 2020. HS exam will end in March 13, 2020. Due to corona virus outbreak in India as well as in Bengal, some of the subject examinations are withheld till June, 2020. The Board will announce the result soon in the year 2020. Total marks allotted in History Subject Question paper is 80 marks. It consists of two parts (i) Part A and (ii) Part B.
Part A of History Subject Question paper is descriptive in nature. The assigned total marks is 60 marks. This part is allowed to be taken home by the candidate.
Part B of History Subject Question Paper is objective or multiple Choice questions. This part is to be carefully answered by the candidate. it is attached and submitted along with the descriptive answer sheet at examination hall.
